SAB | Trade Privacy Policy
SAB | Trade adds CS2 price comparison, item inspection, trade management, history, bookmark, and notification tools to Steam Community pages.
Data handled
Depending on enabled features, SAB | Trade may process Steam identifiers and public profile information; user-supplied Steam, Telegram, and Discord authentication or integration settings; Steam inventory, market, offer, history, forum, and message content; user actions performed through extension controls; Steam Community URLs needed to activate page-specific features; optional Telegram publishing configuration; and local preferences, cached price datasets, exchange rates, history summaries, and notification state.
SAB | Trade does not intentionally collect medical information, government identity documents, payment card details, or credit information.
Use, storage, and retention
Data is used only to provide or improve user-facing Steam and CS2 trading features. Extension settings, credentials, bookmarks, caches, and event state are stored locally in Chrome extension storage. Optional Telegram session and configuration files are stored locally by the separately installed companion. Local data remains until the user clears it, deletes companion files, or uninstalls the product.
Data transmission
When required for a selected feature, limited data may be sent to Steam Community and Valve Web API endpoints; supported CSGOTrader pricing and float-data endpoints; a Discord webhook supplied and enabled by the user; the localhost Telegram companion, which communicates with Telegram; or the optional csgotraders.net integration after explicit permission. Non-local transmissions initiated by the extension use HTTPS.
Limited Use disclosure
SAB | Trade's use and transfer of information received from Chrome APIs complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Data is used only to provide or improve the extension's single purpose and user-facing features. It is not sold, used for personalized advertising or credit decisions, or made available for human review except with explicit user consent for support, when required for security, or when required by law.
Security and executable code
SAB | Trade uses Manifest V3, packages executable extension code with the extension, and does not execute remotely hosted code. Sensitive settings are not included in the published package. Users should revoke credentials if exposed.
User choices and deletion
Users can disable integrations and notifications in Options, remove optional permissions through Chrome, disconnect Telegram, clear extension data, delete Telegram companion files, or uninstall the extension.
Children and policy changes
The product is intended for users permitted to use Steam and related services under their terms. This policy may be updated when functionality or requirements change; the effective date will be updated.
